What is your “why”? What drives you to do this important work each day?
My “why” comes from wanting every student to feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are. I’m driven by the opportunity to help students build confidence, celebrate their culture, and reach their full potential both in and outside the classroom.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I love building genuine connections with students and families. Seeing students grow in their sense of belonging and self-worth is the most rewarding part of my work!

What would you most like families to know about the role of Student Support Workers in HRCE schools?
Student Support Workers are here to support the whole child,  socially, emotionally, culturally, and academically. We work closely with staff and families to make sure every student has the tools, encouragement, and representation they need to succeed.
